Role Summary

The Member Service Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the daily operations of the Member Service team and ensuring the efficient functioning of the Service Center. This role involves providing leadership and technical guidance to maintain high standards of service quality and member satisfaction. The Coordinator will effectively manage member transactions and account inquiries, employing sound judgment in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage Service Center staff, including scheduling, monitoring lobby activity, and ensuring service standards are consistently met.
  2. Inspire, train, and mentor team members, fostering a positive and open work environment.
  3. Ensure daily reconciliation of teller transactions, vault, ATM, and cash activities, maintaining security and compliance with policies.
  4. Act as the first point of escalation for member and staff issues, facilitating problem resolution.
  5. Adhere to audit and control requirements, conducting staff meetings to address operational and regulatory matters.
  6. Provide input to the Center Manager regarding staff performance and development needs.
  7. Perform Member Service Representative duties as necessary to ensure prompt service delivery.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum of 2.5 years in customer service, sales, or team leadership roles, with a preference for experience in financial institutions.

Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a commitment to member service excellence. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and web-based systems is essential.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
