About You

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resource Generalist to join our team at ACROBiosystems. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's overall goals by developing and delivering strong HR processes and activities.

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate administration and documentation related to the full employee lifecycle, delivering accurate HR data, and providing legally compliant first-line HR support while maintaining positive employee relations. Your exceptional verbal and written communication skills will enable you to effectively communicate with employees, managers, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage talent acquisition and recruitment processes, including applicant tracking, interviews, and reference checks.
  • Oversee the administration of the company's compensation and benefits plans, including renewals, benefit set-up, open enrollment, employee communication, COBRA, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Administer leave programs, including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and other leave programs, including documentation and tracking.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and training.
  • Assist the HR Manager with the development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Conduct exit interviews and implement proactive measures to improve retention.
  • Manage and maintain all personnel files in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Assist with annual audits, including but not limited to compliance, 401(k), and medical.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization.
  • Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment.
  • Assist in conducting training and development.
  • Participate in Health and Safety Programs and serve on the safety committee.
  • Process multi-state correspondence and follow-up related to unemployment/disability.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, Business, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of HR Generalist experience.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year plus bonus, depending on experience. Location: Boston, MA.
