Job Description

The Field Inventory Specialist role at FSI Services is a part-time position that requires a hard-working, customer-focused individual to join our Inventory Services team. This person's primary focus will be field survey work at hospital facilities collecting asset information on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, life safety, and medical equipment. Bar code tags will be applied to the equipment while collecting manufacturer information from the devices.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional and customer service-focused support to our clients.
  • Work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment to achieve goals.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of FSI processes for fieldwork and maintain accurate records.
  • Utilize iPads and/or other tablets to collect and manage asset data.
  • Be able to work on feet, climb ladders, and navigate tight spaces for the duration of a normal workday.
  • Learn to read blueprints and understand life safety drawings to accurately identify equipment.
  • Develop the ability to identify Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Life Safety Equipment, and Biomedical Equipment.
  • Travel weekly for one-to-ten-day periods to conduct fieldwork.
  • Familiarity with Email and Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) is required.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Maintenance and/or military experience preferred.
  • Facilities experience preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
