Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Licensed Pharmacist to join our team at Giant Eagle's Immunization Clinics. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in promoting public health and preventing the spread of seasonal illnesses.

Job Responsibilities
  • Administer vaccinations to patients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our immunization clinics, maintaining high standards of quality and patient care.
  • Remain up-to-date on new drugs, therapies, and developments in the pharmacy industry.
  • Adhere to all company, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Build professional relationships with outside partners, including physicians, nurses, and medical assistants.
  • Train and mentor new team members upon hire.
  • Verify accurate replenishment of system canisters with appropriate medication.
  • Model excellent patient care and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Address and resolve prescription order exceptions as necessary.
  • Complete incoming/outgoing prescription transfers.
  • Assist Team Leader in maintaining inventories, ordering products, and supplies.
  • Maintain a neat and sterile work environment.
