  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and implement web content that strengthens the university's brand identity.
  • Supervise the Multimedia and Social Media Specialists to ensure strategic integration across digital media outlets.
  • Develop and maintain a search engine optimization and keyword plan to increase visibility and rankings on search engine results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest innovations in web and digital communications, mobile sites, development tools, and strategies.
  • Assess web needs and recommend enhancements to improve the user experience and digital performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in web technology, including HTML5, CSS3, and XML/RSS feeds.
  • Working knowledge of search engine marketing, web site optimization, and mobile websites.
  • Strong background in website management and information architecture.
  • Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret web metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, including Photoshop.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in higher education, particularly at a private, liberal arts institution.
  • Knowledge of branding, marketing, messaging, and storytelling.
  • Experience in content management systems, such as WordPress.
