About the Role

Hudson River Trading is seeking a highly skilled FPGA Software Engineer to join our team of experts in designing, improving, and maintaining the technology that powers our worldwide trading operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with strategy developers and hardware engineers to build best-in-class trading systems
  • Design, optimize, and deploy low-level code for trading systems
  • Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration with existing trading environment
  • Plan and implement physical networking layouts for trading systems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to analyze and fix problems quickly
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Excellent design, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • C++ expertise required
  • Knowledge of UNIX operating systems, system/processor performance, and network communication
  • Previous exposure to Verilog and FPGAs preferred

What We Offer
  • Annual base salary range of $175,000 to $250,000
  • Pay (base and bonus) may vary depending on job-related skills and experience
  • A sign-on and discretionary performance bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package
