Position Summary:

The Branch Manager will be accountable for managing all facets of branch operations, which include team leadership, member relations, financial oversight, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities, a dedication to member satisfaction, and a genuine enthusiasm for assisting members in reaching their financial aspirations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Inspire, guide, and empower branch personnel to attain high performance and superior member service. Conduct regular performance assessments and offer coaching and growth opportunities.
  • Operational Management: Supervise daily branch functions, ensuring adherence to credit union policies and procedures, as well as compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Financial Oversight: Evaluate and enhance branch financial outcomes, including achieving sales targets, managing budgets, and optimizing profitability.
  • Member Relations: Cultivate a positive member experience by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high satisfaction levels. Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services.
  • Community Involvement: Act as a representative of the credit union within the community, fostering relationships with local businesses and organizations. Develop and execute strategies to enhance branch visibility and community participation.
  • Risk Management: Safeguard branch security, operational integrity, and compliance with all risk management protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in branch management or a comparable leadership role within a financial services context is preferred. Familiarity with credit union policies and procedures is essential.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal capabilities. Proficiency in financial management, sales techniques, and customer service. Ability to analyze and interpret financial information.
