Position Overview
We are currently seeking an IT Analyst to enhance our dynamic team. The primary role of the IT Analyst is to ensure the smooth functioning of business processes and supporting systems to meet the changing demands of stakeholders. This position is essential for maintaining uninterrupted operations and requires a proactive approach in collaboration with various teams to:

  • Establish and sustain the supporting process ecosystem for IT systems and software.
  • Address the tactical, day-to-day aspects of identifying, validating, documenting, and resolving business-process-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage inbound business application support inquiries and help desk requests from internal users.
  • Ensure prompt resolution or escalation of all inquiries while keeping users informed.
  • Resolve user issues by gathering information, understanding their needs, and exploring potential solutions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of a wide array of business applications, processes, and systems.
  • Conduct end-user testing for new functionalities as required.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with Microsoft 365 applications, including email, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Support IT initiatives, including software and network upgrades, equipment installations, and conference room automation.
  • Provide initial technical support to employees, addressing software and hardware issues, network connectivity problems, and printer malfunctions.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals; set up, configure, and maintain these devices.
  • Document business functions and processes; identify opportunities for process enhancement through information systems or alternative solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams for issue resolution and process change requests.
  • Ensure that solutions align with business requirements and specifications; conduct user acceptance testing.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a two-year Technical Degree in a relevant analytical field.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing business analysis for manufacturing processes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in presentations, spreadsheets, flow charting, and word processing.
  • Prior experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with preference for candidates with direct JD Edwards experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting applying business analysis to manufacturing processes; familiarity with Microsoft SQL Power BI.
  • Exceptional time management, problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with project specification writing is desirable; understanding of Microsoft Office 365 and associated applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory-based networks, Windows, and Mac operating systems.
