Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable IT Specialist to oversee and enhance our technology systems. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in IT support, network oversight, and software diagnostics.

Position Summary

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our IT infrastructure, providing support to end-users, and integrating new technologies to improve our operational processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and sustain the company’s network, servers, and overall IT framework.
  • Deliver technical assistance to staff, swiftly resolving hardware and software challenges.
  • Assess system performance and troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware as required.
  • Manage data backup procedures and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Safeguard the company’s IT systems by implementing and upholding cybersecurity protocols.
  • Collaborate with various departments to comprehend and fulfill their technological requirements.
  • Document IT procedures and provide training to personnel on IT systems and best practices.
  • Remain informed about the latest technology trends and propose enhancements or upgrades as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support or a comparable position.
  • Extensive knowledge of network management, server upkeep, and IT security.
  • Proficient in both Windows and Mac OS environments.
  • Experience with cloud computing services and virtualization technologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are advantageous.
