Position Overview
We are seeking an IT Analyst to contribute to our dynamic team. The IT Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of business processes and supporting systems to meet the changing demands of stakeholders. This position is essential for maintaining uninterrupted operations and requires a proactive approach in collaboration with various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and sustain the ecosystem supporting IT systems and software.
- Address daily operational challenges by identifying, validating, documenting, and resolving business process-related issues.
Primary Duties:
- Handle inbound support requests and help desk tickets from internal users efficiently.
- Ensure timely resolution or escalation of all inquiries while keeping users informed throughout the process.
- Resolve user issues by gathering necessary information, understanding their needs, and exploring viable solutions.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of various business applications, processes, and systems.
- Conduct end-user testing for new functionalities as required.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft 365 applications, including email, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Support IT initiatives, including software and network upgrades, equipment installations, and conference room automation.
- Provide initial technical assistance to employees, addressing software and hardware issues, network connectivity, and printer problems.
- Resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals; set up, configure, and maintain these devices.
- Document business functions and processes; identify opportunities for process improvement through information systems or non-system changes.
- Act as a liaison between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams for issue resolution and process change requests.
- Ensure that solutions align with business requirements and specifications; conduct user acceptance testing.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a two-year Technical Degree in a relevant analytical field.
- At least two years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing business analysis for manufacturing processes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in presentations, spreadsheets, flow charting, and word processing.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with preference for candidates with JD Edwards experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting applying business analysis to manufacturing processes; knowledge of Microsoft SQL Power BI is a plus.
- Exceptional time management, problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Previous experience with project specification writing is advantageous; understanding of Microsoft Office 365 and related applications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory-based networks, Windows, and Mac operating systems.
