Job Overview

The Chief Technology Officer, referred to as the Operations Partner – Enterprise Technology Services (OP-ETS), plays a pivotal role in steering the strategic vision and management of technology operations within True Homes. The OP-ETS collaborates closely with the Executive Partner – Enterprise Technology Services (EP-ETS), who governs the overall technology framework of the organization, to craft a cohesive technology strategy that supports a unified business plan. Additionally, the Ops Partner – ETS will engage with fellow Ops Partners and senior leaders on the Central Services Leadership team to define and execute comprehensive internal operational strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster team alignment and organizational culture.

    • True Approach: Interactions with associates, trades, and strategic partners that consistently reflect the company's core values.

  • Budget Report: A detailed account of the technology budget and expenditures, identifying areas of overspend or underspend.
  • Project Status Report: Updates on defined enterprise value projects, including progress, challenges, and future plans.
  • Annual Security and Compliance Report: A report outlining the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements and data security measures.
  • Emerging Technology Report: Updates on emerging technologies that may influence the organization's technology strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in technology leadership roles.
  • In-depth understanding of technology architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in managing technology teams and fostering talent development.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen and comprehension of technology's role in business strategy.
  • Experience in managing technology budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards pertaining to technology.
