Job Title: Employee Benefits Client Executive

The Baldwin Group is a leading insurance brokerage firm that delivers expertly crafted risk management and insurance solutions to clients across the U.S. and abroad. As an Employee Benefits Client Executive, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing large client benefit plans, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage policy activity and stewardship aspects for assigned clients, analyzing claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure client compliance with benefits and regulations, serving as a knowledgeable resource on the impact of government changes.
  • Sustain current knowledge of government regulations, including FMLA, COBRA, ACA, and ERISA, to ensure legal compliance and fulfill reporting requirements.
  • Promote a culture of vigilance, accountability, and collaboration, with a focus on client satisfaction and minimizing errors and omissions claims.
  • Manage large accounts independently, reviewing existing accounts to determine additional lines of insurance or changes needed throughout the year and at renewal.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with insurance company partners, adapting to changing job responsibilities and priorities.
Requirements:
  • State insurance license(s) required, with ability to obtain all necessary licenses within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related concentration, with Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), SPHR, or PHR certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of insurance and/or benefits experience, including leading an account management team.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with ability to learn insurance company and firm software systems.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to produce clear and effective communication to audiences.
