Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Greet patients and visitors, manage patient flow, and ensure a smooth check-in process.
- Administrative Support: Assist with clerical tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Clinical Support: Provide support to physicians and mid-level providers with clinical activities and direct patient care.
- Communication: Respond to phone calls, messages, and emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and update demographic information as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous medical office experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
This is a full-time position working on-site at our Cayuga Health System location. The work environment is dynamic and requires the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
