Job Summary

Cayuga Health System is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a Patient Services Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting the clinical and administrative needs of our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet patients and visitors, manage patient flow, and ensure a smooth check-in process.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with clerical tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Clinical Support: Provide support to physicians and mid-level providers with clinical activities and direct patient care.
  • Communication: Respond to phone calls, messages, and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Experience: Previous medical office experience preferred, but not required.
