Role Overview
The Pension Projects Analyst (PPA) plays a vital role within the Bulk Events Team in Shared Services at EQRS. This position is essential for executing bulk events and ensuring that both EQRS and client goals are met.

PPAs will take ownership of bulk event responsibilities or make significant contributions to the completion of tasks mandated by client contracts or internal stakeholders.

A PPA is expected to make substantial contributions to the deliverables of assigned tasks, being empowered to determine the necessary outputs and end products, both individually and as part of a broader team, while adhering to budgetary and time constraints.

This role demands strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, a focus on results, and an understanding of how to ensure successful delivery within the required timelines and budget.

Key Responsibilities

A PPA will be accountable for:
1. Executing bulk event tasks in alignment with business objectives and critical success factors, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery, while collaborating closely with all internal stakeholders (operations teams, operation managers, EQRS IT, team management, relationship managers, etc.) to keep them informed and ensure that deliverables meet requirements.
2. Offering recommendations and managing the implementation of agreed-upon solutions.
3. Identifying and executing service and system enhancements and efficiencies.
4. Providing support and coordination, leading others when necessary.
5. Gathering and analyzing data essential for processing bulk events within pre-established timelines.
6. Ensuring data integrity is upheld to an acceptable standard.
7. Compiling and organizing documentation for complex technical pension and calculation tasks required as part of deliverables.
8. Collecting third-party documentation necessary to fulfill deliverables.
Required Skills and Attributes

A PPA should exhibit the following experience, skills, and behaviors:
• Comprehensive knowledge of pensions, including Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes, along with an understanding of pension legislation, calculations, and scheme regulations.
• Experience working within a project team or on projects in a Pensions Administration context, with the ability to operate across business and IT domains.
• Capability to assess and comprehend business requirements, issues, and drivers that impact delivery.
• Proficiency in computer applications, with a willingness to learn various systems. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Problem-solving abilities to accurately diagnose issues and explore potential solutions for successful resolution. Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Adaptability and the ability to respond quickly and decisively in a dynamic and challenging environment. Capacity to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality output.
• A collaborative team player, demonstrating a positive and proactive approach to tasks. Commitment to ensuring the success of both personal and team objectives.
• Ability to work independently within the defined scope of the project or change initiative.
• Skill in developing positive and productive working relationships, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
