Role Overview
The position of the Pension Project Analyst (PPA) is situated within the Bulk Events Team of Shared Services in EQRS. This role is vital for executing bulk events throughout EQRS, ensuring that both EQRS and client objectives are met.

PPAs will take ownership of bulk event tasks or significantly contribute to the execution of tasks as dictated by client contracts or internal stakeholders.

A PPA is expected to make substantial contributions to the outcomes of assigned tasks, being empowered to determine the deliverables and end products, both individually and as part of a larger team, while adhering to budgetary and time constraints.

This role necessitates strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, a focus on results, and an understanding of how to ensure delivery within the specified timelines and cost parameters.

Core Responsibilities

A PPA will be accountable for the following:
1. Executing bulk event tasks in alignment with business objectives and critical success factors, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery while collaborating closely with all internal stakeholders (operations teams, operation managers, EQRS IT, team management, relationship managers, etc.) to keep them informed and ensure the delivery meets requirements.
2. Offering recommendations and managing the implementation of agreed-upon solutions.
3. Identifying and executing service and system enhancements and efficiencies.
4. Providing support and coordination, leading others when necessary.
5. Compiling and analyzing data essential for processing bulk events within pre-established timelines.
6. Ensuring data integrity is upheld to a satisfactory standard.
7. Assessing and compiling documentation for complex technical pension and calculation tasks required as part of deliverables.
8. Gathering third-party documentation necessary to fulfill deliverables.
Skills, Capabilities, and Attributes
A PPA will exhibit the following experience, skills, and behaviors:
1. Comprehensive knowledge of pensions, encompassing both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution, along with an understanding of pensions technical legislation, pension calculations, and scheme regulations.
2. Experience working within a project team or on projects within a Pensions Administration Team, capable of operating as a hybrid across business and IT.
3. The ability to evaluate and comprehend business requirements, issues, and drivers that affect delivery.
4. Proficiency in computer systems with a willingness to learn various platforms. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
5. Problem-solving skills to accurately diagnose issues and explore potential solutions for successful resolution. Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
6. A flexible approach, able to respond swiftly and decisively in a dynamic and challenging environment. Capability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize effectively without compromising output quality.
7. A team player, demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude towards each task. A commitment to ensuring the success of both personal and team objectives in all interactions.
8. The ability to work independently within the defined parameters of the project or change activity.
9. The capacity to cultivate positive and productive working relationships with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
