Position Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing the execution of CHS Inc.'s Qualified Retirement Plans (including union and non-union pension plans and 401(k) plans) as well as Non-Qualified Retirement Plans (SERP and Deferred Compensation). The position will be pivotal in shaping the organization's retirement benefits programs and policies. The Benefits Analyst, currently serving as the Retirement Plan Administrator, will report directly to this position.

Key Responsibilities
1. Manage Qualified Retirement Plans: Identify trends, opportunities for enhancement, and areas of risk concerning the overall design and management of the plans.
2. Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate to support Executive (NQ) Retirement Plans, including the preparation and completion of necessary filings (10Q, 10K, 162m & CD&A).
3. Vendor Oversight: Supervise the performance of record-keeping, investment management, and consulting partners.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about changing regulations, monitor plan compliance, and implement necessary adjustments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
5. Governance Collaboration: Work with other CHS staff to identify and manage governance and agenda items for the Quarterly Retirement Plan Committee meetings, preparing relevant materials.
6. Employee Education: Develop materials and conduct workshops and webinars to educate employees about retirement programs.
7. Strategic Planning: Formulate long-term retirement strategies aligned with company objectives, considering workforce demographics, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
8. Plan Design and Optimization: Collaborate with senior leadership to design and optimize retirement plans, including 401(k), pension, and deferred compensation programs, ensuring these plans attract and retain top talent while managing costs effectively.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 7+ years in a Retirement Plans Management Role

Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) certification.
- Extensive experience in retirement plan administration, preferably in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of retirement plan regulations and compliance requirements.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to influence employees at all levels; executive presence.
- Strategic thinking skills to identify employee experience opportunities and recommend enhancements.

Technical Proficiency
Experience with Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS systems.

Compensation and Benefits
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package, including base salary and, depending on the position, may include additional earnings such as bonuses, incentives, and commissions. Actual pay will vary based on factors including experience, education, training, specialized skills, and certifications.
