Our operational framework includes comprehensive retail services such as acquisition, redevelopment, leasing, and management of grocery-anchored retail spaces.

Role Overview:

The Property Accounting Intern will collaborate closely with a Property Accounting Team Lead and engage with fellow team members in our office. Candidates who are open to completing two full-time rotations will be given preference. Interns returning for their second rotation will receive a pay increase.
  • Deepen your understanding of various accounting systems, the monthly close process, and reporting cycles while enhancing your Excel skills.
  • Assist with month-end close tasks, including reviewing rent charges for accuracy, ensuring automatic billing of contract services, preparing utility accruals, and managing fixed asset transactions.
  • Engage in special projects, such as verifying invoice accuracy for capitalization, reviewing depreciation additions, and assisting with common area maintenance reconciliations for numerous properties.

Qualifications:
  • Current undergraduate student available for full-time work during the semester.
  • Enrolled in a degree program in Accounting or a related business field with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Able to work independently with guidance and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
