Athletic Internship Positions - Unpaid

Reporting To: Athletic Director

Employment Status: Temporary - Unpaid

Internship Overview:
Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA) Athletics is dedicated to offering an internship experience that immerses students and recent graduates in the dynamic environment of the sports sector, providing practical exposure in event management and promotion.


Available Internship Areas:


A range of internships are available through CHCA Athletics, each with unique responsibilities and varying time commitments. The following areas are currently open for internships:


1. Event Operations: Support the planning and execution of events. Responsibilities include operational management, administrative tasks, database management, logistics coordination, participant services, ticketing, registration, volunteer recruitment and management, hospitality, meeting organization, and general assistance.


2. Social Media and Marketing: Contribute to enhancing the social media presence and communication strategies for CHCA Athletics and its events. Tasks may involve drafting press releases, producing videos, maintaining a media library, following up with media, enhancing social media engagement, creating graphics, and managing website and email communications. Additional responsibilities include grassroots marketing initiatives and media operations.


3. Sponsorship Sales & Activation: Engage in corporate sponsorship sales by assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of business development, marketing, promotional, and fundraising activities for CHCA Athletics and its events. Responsibilities include prospect research, database management, and membership solicitation and fulfillment.


4. Finance: Provide support for daily financial operations within CHCA Athletics. The internship will encompass tasks related to ticketing, accounts payable processing, and accounts receivable management.


5. Youth Programs: Plan and coordinate youth events in conjunction with activities hosted by CHCA Athletics. Duties include event management, logistics coordination, youth committee planning, and grassroots marketing efforts.


Requirements:


Graduate: Open to recent graduates from accredited colleges or universities or students currently enrolled in or accepted to accredited graduate programs.


Undergraduate: Open to undergraduate students currently enrolled or accepted to accredited colleges or universities.


Internship Options:
Various internship periods are available throughout the year, with specific timelines to be discussed during the hiring process. Please indicate your availability in your application.
