Financial Management Internship at GE Aerospace

The Financial Management Program (FMP) Internship is a comprehensive ten-week early career development opportunity designed to enhance your professional journey and integrate you into the talent pipeline for future finance and business leaders at GE Aerospace. This internship serves as a precursor to the GE Aerospace FMP, a two-year program aimed at developing exceptional financial acumen through a blend of academic coursework, practical job assignments, and engaging interactive courses.
Throughout the internship, you will engage in projects across various finance domains, including Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and Financial Planning & Analysis. These experiences will broaden your knowledge base and showcase your leadership potential.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties
- Execute a ten-week project focused on one of GE's core finance areas: Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, or Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Participate in two courses aimed at enhancing business communication skills and data analysis techniques relevant to the workplace.
- Collaborate with and present findings to senior leaders who will mentor you throughout your assignments.
- Embrace and promote GE's values by contributing to our inclusive culture both within the organization and in the communities we impact.
- Be prepared to relocate as necessary for the internship.
- Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited bachelor's degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Operations Management, Data or Business Analytics, or Mathematics.
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, both overall and in your major.
Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory, and sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this position. This role is limited to U.S. persons due to access to export-controlled technology.

Compensation for this position starts at $18.25 per hour, with increases based on academic progression. Relocation support and housing assistance are available for those who need to move for the internship.
