Position Overview

Athletic Internship Positions - Unpaid

Reporting To: Athletic Director

Employment Status: Temporary - Unpaid

Internship Experience:
Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA) Athletics is dedicated to offering an enriching internship experience that immerses students and recent graduates in the sports industry. This program provides practical exposure to event management and promotion within a sporting context. Please note that these internships are unpaid.


Available Internship Areas:


A range of internships are available at CHCA Athletics, each with distinct responsibilities and varying time commitments. The following areas are currently open for internship applications:


1. Event Operations: Assist in the planning and execution of athletic events. Responsibilities include event administration, database management, logistics coordination, participant services, ticketing, registration, volunteer management, hospitality, and general event support.


2. Social Media and Marketing: Contribute to enhancing the social media presence and communication strategies for CHCA Athletics and its events. Tasks may involve drafting press releases, video production, maintaining media libraries, engaging with media, and supporting grassroots marketing initiatives.


3. Sponsorship Sales & Activation: Engage in corporate sponsorship initiatives by assisting in the planning and execution of marketing and fundraising activities for CHCA Athletics. Responsibilities include prospect research, database management, and membership outreach.


4. Finance: Support daily financial operations and provide assistance with financial tasks related to CHCA Athletics. The internship will involve responsibilities such as ticketing, processing payables, and managing accounts receivable.


5. Youth Programs: Plan and coordinate youth-oriented events in conjunction with CHCA Athletics. Duties include event administration, logistics, youth committee planning, and grassroots marketing efforts.


Qualifications:


Graduate:
Open to recent graduates from accredited colleges or universities, as well as students currently enrolled in or accepted to accredited graduate programs.


Undergraduate:
Open to undergraduate students currently enrolled in or accepted to accredited colleges or universities.


Internship Options:
Internship availability may vary based on the event schedule and will be discussed during the hiring process. Please indicate your availability in your application.
