Job Summary:

The MDU Construction Manager will be responsible for the construction and project management of new fiber-based telecommunications networks to MDU and SMB locations. This includes collaborating on estimating, design, and engineering, as well as overseeing the construction and implementation of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and collaborate on comprehensive Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) plans for Multi Dwelling and Small Business Units projects.
  • Responsible for in-scope, schedule, budget, and delivery. Establish the appropriate reporting and metrics to measure, monitor performance against plan, and report regular status updates to customers, executives, and key strategic stakeholders.
  • Lead the end-to-end solution deployment from network architecture, process, and system solutions, construction methodologies, material selection, acquisition, and handling, field installation activities, project acceptance activities, training requirements, operational hand-over activities, etc.
  • Responsible for organizational specific health and safety policies and procedures, as well as the safe working behaviors of our vendors and suppliers.
  • Align external resources from a shared or dedicated pool of contractors, material providers, and individuals.
  • Build a partnership model, as the team may include company employees from various outside departments as well as outside contractors and engineering firms, and establish and drive clear accountability for all team members and create an environment that enables high performance from the team.
  • On-time delivery of projects to scope, budget, and other constraints.

  • $40.00 - $48.00 /hr with flexibility depending on candidate experience
