Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant III/Clinic LPN to join our team at CoxHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and performing other clerical duties as needed.
  • Assist with clinical duties, such as taking and recording vital signs, preparing patients for examination, and drawing blood.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve patient care and clinic operations.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a formal MA training program or an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in an ambulatory clinic setting, is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Certification from a program recognized by CoxHealth, such as CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), or LPN.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a related field.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
