This role presents an excellent chance for you to innovate by developing highly efficient algorithms designed for scalability.

This position necessitates experience in developing Multi-modal LLMs and Vision Language Models.

You will work collaboratively with various Amazon teams to make informed choices regarding best practices in machine learning, aimed at constructing highly-optimized integrated hardware and software systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in the design, development, assessment, deployment, and enhancement of data-driven models for computer vision applications.
  • Research and apply cutting-edge algorithms in computer vision and Vision Language models.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to conceptualize and implement features based on computer vision and machine learning for Amazon devices.
  • Shape system design and product vision by making informed selections regarding technology, data sources, algorithms, and sensors.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in deep learning, computer vision, human-robot interaction, and algorithm implementation.

  • 1+ years of experience in building models for business applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar.
  • Experience in developing and executing deep learning algorithms, particularly in the realm of computer vision.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated history of innovation in developing novel algorithms and enhancing the state-of-the-art.

  • Experience in prototyping, designing, implementing, and deploying computer vision applications and tools.
  • Familiarity with Vision Language Models and LLMs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exhibits sound business judgment, effectively balancing business, product, and technology considerations.
