Position Overview

We are looking for a Staff Revenue Accountant to become a vital part of our Revenue Team. This role is a hybrid position, allowing for flexibility while primarily based in our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a substantial volume of customer invoices utilizing the Salesforce Billing system.
  • Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve any inquiries related to invoicing.
  • Conduct month-end closing processes, including analyses, journal entries, and reconciliations pertaining to accounts receivable and deferred revenue.
  • Collaborate with various departments such as sales, finance, and order management to ensure comprehensive documentation of invoicing matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports and address all audit inquiries related to invoicing.
  • Support the integration of accounts receivable and billing processes for future acquisitions.
  • Maintain a foundational understanding of revenue recognition accounting principles.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience with Salesforce is essential.
  • 0-3 years of experience in invoicing and revenue management.
  • Familiarity with software revenue recognition (ASC 606) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of order processing is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume setting.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a sense of accountability.
  • Self-motivated professional capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with others.
  • Willingness to embrace additional responsibilities as required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Experience with ERP systems is required; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
