Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor information
  • Review and process invoices for payment, ensuring proper coding and approvals
  • Prepare and process payment runs, including checks and ACH payments, in a timely manner
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with vendors
  • Assist with month-end close by providing necessary reports and documentation
  • Serve as a resource to internal stakeholders on accounts payable processes and policies
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
