Job Description

LCG Advisors, a leading transaction advisory services firm, is seeking an experienced professional to join our Management Consulting Team as an AVP. The ideal candidate will work closely with our existing clients in the private equity space, providing expert guidance on carve-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carve-out Project Leadership: Lead and manage carve-out projects from initial assessment through execution, ensuring seamless separation of business units.
  • Comprehensive Carve-out Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive carve-out plans, including data migration and transition roadmaps.
  • Risk Mitigation and Compliance: Collaborate with clients to identify and mitigate risks associated with the carve-out process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Transaction Support: Provide transaction support, including preparation of information memoranda, data rooms, and due diligence reports.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, IT, HR) to ensure successful separation of business functions.
  • Post-Transaction Integration: Advise clients on post-transaction integration and support the stand-alone operation of carved-out entities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, required. Master's degree, preferred.
  • Professional Certifications: CPA preferred, not required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or a related field, with a focus on carve-outs or divestitures.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in a Big Four accounting firm or a specialized management consulting firm, preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged Sitting: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Travel: Flexibility for travel.
