Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Burlington Stores, Inc. As an HR Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive HR support to our Distribution Center team, ensuring compliance with Federal and State laws, and providing exceptional service to our associates and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage various HR-related data entry, uploads, exports, and transactional requests.
  • Prepare new hire orientation materials, maintain data entry for new hires, and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Manage and track associate information and documentation, including new hire required documentation, associate performance reviews, progressive discipline, and terminations.
  • Support the Distribution Centers with planning, communicating, and tracking company-wide initiatives, events, and objectives.
  • Advise and assist Managers and Supervisors on HR policy interpretation and administration.
  • Act as a liaison between Distribution Center associates and Corporate Benefits department to resolve benefits inquiries.
  • Coordinate FMLA, LOA, Workers Comp claims, and submit paperwork to corporate/vendor.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Background and understanding of basic Human Resources principles.
  • HR experience in a Distribution Center environment a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to be cross-trained and serve as a backup resource to other coordinators in the department.
  • Proactive work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
