Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Burlington Stores, Inc. As an HR Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive HR support to our Distribution Center team, ensuring compliance with Federal and State laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Process various time-sensitive data entry, uploads, exports, and transactional requests from HR, the business, and associates related to status changes in the HRIS and all applicable systems.
- Prepare new hire orientation material and maintain data entry for new hires, as well as conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.
- Manage, track, and ensure compliance on all associate information and documentation as dictated by governing policies, including new hire required documentation, associate performance reviews, progressive discipline, and terminations.
- Support the Distribution Centers with the planning, communicating, and tracking of company-wide initiatives, events, and objectives throughout the year, as well as the daily associate inquiries.
- Act as a liaison between Distribution Center associates and Corporate Benefits department to support and resolve benefits inquiries.
- Coordinate FMLA, LOA, Workers Comp claims, and submit paperwork to corporate/vendor.
- Handle and support additional projects as needed.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Background and understanding of basic Human Resources principles.
- HR experience in a Distribution Center environment a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Ability to be cross-trained and serve as a backup resource to other coordinators in the department.
- Proactive work ethic; does not need to be micro-managed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
