Front Office Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Front Office Supervisor to join our team at One Ocean Resort and Spa. As a Front Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the front desk, providing excellent customer service, and supervising a team of front desk staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the front desk team to ensure excellent customer service and a smooth check-in/check-out process.
  • Train and develop the skills of front desk staff to ensure they are equipped to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including cash handling, guest accounts, and room assignments.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in a related position, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of hotel front office procedures and cash handling practices.

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged standing at the front desk.
  • Continuous communication with guests and staff.
  • Ability to work in a climate-controlled environment with fluorescent lighting.
