Role Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Live-In Caregiver and Resident Supervisor to oversee the daily functions of our home while providing essential care to our residents. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to assist others and have prior experience in caregiving or residential management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily assistance and support to residents, including help with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Oversee the overall management of the home, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable living space.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor the health and well-being of residents.
- Organize activities and outings to enhance resident engagement and quality of life.
- Supervise and mentor additional caregiving staff as necessary.
- Maintain effective communication with residents' families and healthcare providers.
Qualifications:
- Completion of EQC class, Adult Foster Home Orientation, and Record Keeping.
- Prior experience in managing an adult foster home.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and empathy.
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in emergency situations.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
