Position Responsibilities

The Caseworker is responsible for delivering Child Support Services by managing a caseload aimed at achieving positive outcomes for clients. Key duties include:

  • Evaluating case details and determining subsequent actions in accordance with state regulations.
  • Conducting interviews, collecting DNA samples, negotiating consents, and referring clients to community resources.
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence pertinent to each case.
  • Utilizing state systems to maintain current case information and facilitate automated actions.
  • Performing annual assessments on assigned cases.
  • Initiating locate activities for clients.
  • Monitoring personal performance through specialized reports.
  • Addressing and resolving client issues and complaints.
  • Updating state systems with relevant new information and documenting client interactions.
  • Taking all necessary steps to address client concerns.
  • Executing other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, collaborate in a team-oriented environment, and adhere to team and organizational objectives and values.
