Position Summary:
This position is pivotal in delivering business-specific outcomes for designated divisions or across multiple sectors. You will take charge of reporting on profitability and managing balance sheets for your assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities:
The Accountant will undertake the following essential duties, along with any other reasonable tasks as required:

  • Prepare, reconcile, and analyze the monthly Management Accounts for specific product lines, potentially spanning multiple divisions.
  • Ensure revenue reconciliation aligns with business insights and between the accounting and SAP systems.
  • Conduct WIP analysis, product costing, and manage provisions (e.g., stock).
  • Apply key drivers impacting monthly Management Accounting reports in daily practices.
  • Assist in generating financial analyses.
  • Calculate royalties, profit shares, and commissions.
  • Manage bad debt provisions, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Utilize your business knowledge to analyze and resolve ad hoc issues.
  • Support additional tasks as necessary, including covering workloads in other teams.
  • Process intercompany transactions and check sub-ledgers from internal departments.
  • Collaborate with Finance Operations and Cash Operations for reconciliation inquiries.
  • Capitalize assets and manage depreciation processes.
  • Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Publish financial results in SAP FC.
  • Engage in budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and analysis of direct costs and divisional recharges (specific to Global Support).
  • Fulfill Tax & Compliance responsibilities as dictated by your SSC.

Qualifications:
Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of R2R processes relevant to your area.
  • Proficient in the SAP system.
  • Familiarity with best practices in an R2R environment.
  • Recognized accounting qualification or degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills, fostering relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
