The team operates on a hybrid schedule, working in the office Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work from home on Monday and Friday.

Overview:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing and managing cost control measures for the gas construction initiative. Your role will involve coordinating financial reporting and conducting scenario analyses. You will develop and evaluate project estimates, timelines, and capital budgets while analyzing monthly cost reports to ensure that projects are completed on time and within financial constraints. Regular status updates will be provided to management, and you will support contract negotiations while collaborating with contractors and internal teams on cost control issues. Adherence to cost and planning control policies is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consolidation of capital expenditure forecasting and budgeting.
  • Compile, review, and present monthly forecasting schedules.
  • Manage Out of Cycle (OOC) capital requests.
  • Lead monthly capital review meetings (SOX compliance).
  • Review economic models and individual plan forecasting.
  • Collaborate with business partners to assess actuals, variance comments, and forecast updates.
  • Proactively update month-to-date expenditures with business units.
  • Provide recurring reporting and handle other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills:
  1. Proficient in SAP and Excel, with experience in creating and reviewing monthly forecasting schedules.
  2. Experience managing capital budgets and forecasting for projects or O&M budgets across multiple business units.
  3. Ability to handle Out of Cycle (OOC) capital requests effectively.
  4. Direct experience leading monthly capital review meetings (SOX compliance).

Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, fostering transparency and openness.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Competence in leading and managing meetings.

Preferred Experience:
4+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the power or utilities sector.

In-person interviews will be conducted.

Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
