Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead and deliver sales strategy execution in California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing account plans for target accounts, expanding commercial relationships with existing clients, and developing new pipelines within the territory to achieve regional and personal targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Assume territorial and account management responsibilities for California, representing both assigned biopharma and biotech accounts, as well as develop regional prospect pipelines.
- Expand commercial relationships with existing clients for both existing and new offerings from IDBS.
- Develop and progress new pipelines within the territory to achieve regional and personal targets.
- Own the development and execution of account plans for target accounts.
- Effectively promote and educate targeted accounts on the challenges the industry is facing and how IDBS provides solutions to positively impact their business through one-on-one meetings, group presentations, and company-approved industry conferences.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4+ years of enterprise software sales experience (preferably Life Sciences software sales) and/or sales experience within the Life Sciences industry, including biopharma, bioprocessing, and/or bioanalytics preferred.
- Accustomed to dealing with complex deals and multiple stakeholders, including VP and C-level decision makers, and can navigate a 12–18-month sales cycle preferred.
- Experience in R&D, process development, and manufacturing within biopharma products/industry is preferred.
Ability to travel regularly to customer sites, approximately 50%.

The salary range for this role is $115,000-$135,000.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
