Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at LorchGreene LLP. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for performing diversified accounting assignments under the direction of a manager or partner. You will meet time constraints and client deadlines, build client relationships, and maintain smooth working relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accounting assignments, including analysis and reconstruction of financial statements, analysis of complex transactions, and review of work papers and expert reports.
- Assist in business valuation analysis and research, and participate in planning and scheduling client engagements.
- Review and supervise work performed by less experienced team members, and prepare routine correspondence to clients for approval and signature of a Partner.
- Draft reports, including footnotes, and perform a broad range of accountant tasks to minimize the direct participation of managers or Partners.
- A strong entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starter with a hands-on, action-oriented approach.
- Leads by example and results-oriented, with a professional possessing the highest levels of honesty, integrity, and ethics.
- A strong desire to pursue a career in Forensic Accounting, with a BS degree in Accounting or Financial Industry.
- NO MORE than 3-5 years of office environment experience, with command of Word, Excel, Quicken, and QuickBooks.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, research, and communication skills.
- $22-24 Hourly (DOE)
