About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A will be a key player in our growing Finance team at CookUnity. You will build and continually improve our core FP&A models and presentations. These models support the CFO and the leadership team to set financial targets, consolidate plans from across the organization, and monitor results.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models, including the corporate 3-statement financial planning model, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Extract and analyze financial and operational data from various sources to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline planning and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
  • Support the CFO and CEO in preparing presentations for the leadership team and stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track operational and financial performance against plans, providing actionable insights for business improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular business reviews, highlighting key financial and operational metrics, and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain financial forecasts for the corporate organization, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls, maintaining a high level of financial integrity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or MBA in business or finance, with a strong foundation in financial analysis and modeling.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance roles requiring complex financial analysis, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial models and presentations.
  • Exceptional financial modeling skills, with the ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare polished presentations and reports.
  • Action-oriented and able to drive process improvements across the organization.
  • Ability to problem-solve, with strong time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Functional knowledge of accounting concepts and internal controls, with a strong attention to detail and a big-picture orientation.
