We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to become an integral part of our Global Sales Compensation team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with Broadridge's HR, Sales Operations, and Sales Leadership teams. The Global Sales Compensation team is tasked with managing and forecasting variable compensation for our Global Sales teams, and your expertise will be essential in refining sales compensation strategies while delivering expense forecasts to senior management.
This position encompasses both Financial Operations and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Responsibilities within Financial Operations include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the commission database
- Reviewing and interpreting commission structures
- Preparing, reconciling, and submitting monthly commission disbursements
On the FP&A side, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly forecasts, annual operating plans, and multi-year strategic plans
- Conducting sales commission analytics in collaboration with various business units
- Partnering with business leaders to drive financial outcomes and articulate a clear narrative
- Understanding and interpreting commission plans and client agreements to accurately calculate commissions
- Demonstrating proficiency in database functionality to support the My Commissions System
- Analyzing systemic commission payments and ensuring payroll deadlines are met
- Reviewing commission policies and plans
- Collaborating with consultants to enhance the My Commissions System
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance Operations or FP&A
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation abilities
- Capability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Familiarity with Varicent My Commissions is advantageous
- Experience with Oracle, Oracle Analytics, TM1, or similar financial applications is a plus
- Willingness to travel as necessary
Compensation: Salary range is $85,000 to $90,000 annually, with eligibility for bonuses.
