Job Summary:

The Receptionist/Human Resources Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to the Human Resources department. This role will involve face-to-face communications with vendors, visitors, and employees, as well as providing clerical assistance to the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer switchboard calls and connect callers to the correct extension or department
  • Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Prepare the lobby area for the day, including unlocking main entrance doors and maintaining production and office bulletin boards
  • Greet visitors, maintain the visitor logbook, and distribute entry badges to visitors/vendors while notifying the appropriate company personnel of visitor(s) arrival
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, copying, faxing, and monitoring and maintaining office and company-distributed supplies
  • Provide administrative assistance to Human Resources and other departments as required, including auditing, alphabetizing, shredding, and/or sorting documents and files
  • Support the onboarding process by creating new employee files, coordinating safety shoe vouchers, and collecting paperwork
  • Print, prepare, distribute, track, and maintain employee timecards for payroll on a weekly basis
  • Send necessary payroll documentation to corporate accountants once payroll is processed
  • Collaborate with staff members on logging data and information for various reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is preferred
  • Minimum of two years experience in a related field/environment
  • Strong communication, analytical abilities, and organization skills
  • General knowledge of Adobe applications, Microsoft Office (Excel) and Lotus Notes
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
