Receptionist/HR Coordinator

The Receptionist/Human Resources Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to the Human Resources department. This role will involve face-to-face communications with vendors, visitors, and employees, as well as providing clerical assistance to the HR team.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer switchboard calls and connect callers to the correct extension or department
- Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail
- Prepare the lobby area for the day, including unlocking main entrance doors and maintaining production and office bulletin boards
- Greet visitors, maintain the visitor logbook, and distribute entry badges to visitors/vendors while notifying the appropriate company personnel of visitor(s) arrival
- Perform general office duties such as filing, copying, faxing, and monitoring and maintaining office and company-distributed supplies
- Provide administrative assistance to Human Resources and other departments as required, including auditing, alphabetizing, shredding, and/or sorting documents and files
- Support the onboarding process by creating new employee files, coordinating safety shoe vouchers, and collecting paperwork
- Print, prepare, distribute, track, and maintain employee timecards for payroll on a weekly basis
- Send necessary payroll documentation to corporate accountants once payroll is processed
- Collaborate with staff members on logging data and information for various reports
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is preferred
- Minimum of two years experience in a related field/environment
- Strong communication, analytical abilities, and organization skills
- General knowledge of Adobe applications, Microsoft Office (Excel) and Lotus Notes
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
