Job Summary:

The Receptionist/Human Resources Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to vendors, visitors, and employees while supporting the Human Resources department with administrative tasks.

This role involves compiling and maintaining records, handling data entry, and assisting the HR Manager with daily functions, company events, or activities.

This is a salaried non-exempt role (qualifies for overtime) with working hours 8 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer switchboard calls and connect callers to the correct extension or department as needed.
  • Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Prepare the lobby area for the day, unlock main entrance doors, and maintain production and office bulletin boards.
  • Greet visitors, maintain the visitor logbook, and distribute entry badges to visitors/vendors while notifying the appropriate company personnel of visitor(s) arrival.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, copying, faxing, and monitoring and maintaining office and company-distributed supplies.
  • Provide administrative assistance to Human Resources and other departments as required, including auditing, alphabetizing, shredding, and/or sorting documents and files.
  • Support the onboarding process by creating new employee files, coordinating safety shoe vouchers, and collecting paperwork.
  • Print, prepare, distribute, track, and maintain employee timecards for payroll on a weekly basis.
  • Send necessary payroll documentation to corporate accountants once payroll is processed.
  • Collaborate with staff members on logging data and information for various reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a related field/environment.
  • Strong communication, analytical abilities, and organization skills.
  • General knowledge of Adobe applications, Microsoft Office (Excel) and Lotus Notes.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

This role is based in a general office setting in a manufacturing environment.
