About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our AWS Infrastructure Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and delivering data center infrastructure solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data center infrastructure solutions, including power delivery systems, cooling plants, and air handling equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services
  • Conduct complex business case analysis to justify project scope and present findings to management
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations in data center design and operations
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and project execution
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, as required
