Job Title: Senior Commercial Development Manager

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Generation & Transmission Development team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of resource acquisitions, including financial analysis, stakeholder management, and project planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategy development and implementation plans for resource acquisitions
  • Manage project plans across multi-disciplinary teams, including creating and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and action items
  • Conduct business, operational, financial, and policy-level analyses to evaluate potential projects and maximize the value of current energy resource assets
  • Lead external representative(s) on assigned projects, including identifying, negotiating, and managing partner relationships and commercial contracts
  • Collaborate with long-term resource and planning groups to review asset acquisitions and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, economics, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
  • 5 years relevant work experience, including 3 years asset development and acquisition experience
  • Experience in the utility, oil, gas, or independent power sector and experience in project development or commercial acquisitions
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles, strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills
