Position Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the Financial Controller and collaborate with team members on daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding organizational and time management abilities, thrive in a dynamic environment, and demonstrate a history of successful performance. Key responsibilities include maintaining daily accounting records, overseeing expense reports and reimbursements, organizing and completing financial files, and reconciling invoices.

Exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential. Candidates with relevant experience are highly encouraged to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of accounting processes from transaction entry to general ledger reporting.
  • Oversee accounts payable and ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage accounts receivable and guarantee timely and precise processing.
  • Handle inventory management and prepare monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) journal entries.
  • Administer expense reporting software and input expenses into the ERP system.
  • Assist with monthly sales tax reconciliation and reporting.
  • Reconcile and enter monthly credit card and bank account transactions.
  • Generate weekly payment summaries.
  • Support W-9 collection and year-end 1099 preparation.
  • Contribute to various month-end closing activities.
  • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
  • Assist the Financial Controller with additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of practical accounting experience, with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Possession of an active CPA license.
  • Familiarity with fundamental accounting principles, with a preference for e-commerce experience.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High ethical standards and a strong work ethic, emphasizing teamwork, respect for others, and support for collective decisions.
  • Problem-solving skills with a patient and positive demeanor.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized, capable of working efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in e-commerce, international, and inventory-based businesses is advantageous.
