Position Overview:
As a vital member of our finance team, you will oversee and evaluate all monetary transactions while executing a comprehensive range of professional accounting responsibilities. Your role will encompass fiscal management, meticulous record keeping, insightful reporting, and financial analysis for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process accounts payable invoices efficiently.
  • Ensure accuracy by verifying and posting entries to general ledger accounts; conduct trial balances.
  • Handle detailed processing for accounts receivable and conduct collection calls for overdue payments.
  • Process Box Office ticket reports and accurately record all transactions.
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures to ensure timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare event settlements and sales journals as required.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to maintain financial integrity.
  • Compile audit work papers and conduct thorough analyses of accounts.
  • Analyze accounting records and prepare statements on event profitability.
  • Generate sales statements and related financial documents.
  • Support various accounting functions through related professional accounting work.
  • Adhere to Federal, State, and local laws and regulations regarding accounting and auditing practices.
  • Examine and validate a variety of financial documents and reports.
  • Prepare diverse financial statements, reports, and analytical documents.
  • Utilize a ten-key calculator efficiently to meet job performance standards.
  • Operate computer systems to perform essential accounting functions.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a closely related field is preferred.
  • At least one year of professional accounting experience is desirable.
  • Must demonstrate accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience are essential.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred.
