About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join SystImmune Inc. as the Vice President and Head of Business Development, driving the company's growth trajectory through strategic partnerships and collaborations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with SystImmune's scientific, strategic, and financing plans.
  • Identify and pursue licensing, partnership, and collaboration opportunities to accelerate clinical asset development.
  • Collaborate closely with the scientific team to define and deliver key data packages and lead all scientific due diligence processes.
  • Develop proposed deal architecture and terms, and lead negotiations of term sheets and agreements with potential partners.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 15 years in business development within the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of successful deal-making, including licensing, partnerships, and collaborations.

SystImmune Inc. offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 100% paid employee premiums for medical/dental/vision, STD, LTD, a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match of up to 3%, and a vesting schedule of only 5 years.

Location

This position requires a hybrid working model, with expectations of being in office 2-3 days a week at either the headquarters of Redmond, WA or an office in central New Jersey, which location is being determined.
