Position Overview:

The Freelance Project Management Associate will oversee the workflow of designated digital initiatives from inception to completion. Responsibilities include timeline creation and management, resource allocation, budget tracking, adherence to project plans, and quality assurance. Typical project types encompass web development, email campaigns, digital advertisements, and direct marketing materials. This role offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated creative and technical teams, as well as various stakeholders within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage small to medium-sized projects or assist a Senior Project Manager in overseeing segments of larger projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery while surpassing client expectations.
  • Handle scheduling, monitoring, change management, evaluation, and control of projects.
  • Establish clear expectations for tasks and deliverables among teams responsible for execution, ensuring effective communication and provision of necessary materials/documentation.
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential risks, seeking guidance from a Senior Project Manager or Program Director to mitigate issues.
  • Continuously monitor project progress, including lifecycle analysis, resource management, detailed scheduling, budget input, and feedback on production issues to Senior Project Manager/Project Director; consult with the team and make adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience in an agency setting, handling a high volume of diverse projects such as web, email, digital banners, and direct mail is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate across various functional departments.
  • Strong attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly regarding workflow processes and internal protocols.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet and JIRA is advantageous.

Compensation: The hourly compensation range is $31.00 to $43.00. This range reflects the Company's expectations for this position at the time of posting. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience, along with the position's requirements. The Company reserves the right to adjust this pay range at any time. Benefits include medical coverage, dental and vision insurance, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
