Event Coordinator Job Description

As an Event Coordinator at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a critical role in planning and executing meetings and events for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). This is a unique opportunity to utilize your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate meetings and events from 5-5000 people, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior-level clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure flawless event execution.
  • Manage event budgets, including labor and direct costs, to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Provide cradle-to-grave support for various meeting types, including pre-planning, site selection, registration, event execution, and close-out.
  • Work independently with some guidance and review, or guide the activities of junior employees.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with senior-level clients to plan and execute meetings.
  • Ability to identify client requirements and expectations for each event.
  • Knowledge of maintaining budgets and providing full scope support.
  • Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with independent task management and prioritization.
  • Experience with planning and executing DoD events.
  • Ability to write conference justification packages for government meetings.
  • CMP or CGMP Certification.

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD).
