Floorplan Xpress is a leading provider of floor planning services for independent automotive dealers across the country. We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team in Phoenix, AZ, to focus on supporting our dealer network growth.
The Account Manager will be responsible for growing the portfolio, managing and cultivating relationships with dealers, optimizing their utilization of credit lines, and effectively managing risk. The Account Manager will be outside of the office 100% of the time, visiting dealer customers, auctions, and other industry partners.
The successful Account Manager will:
- Manage and Optimize Dealer Credit Lines: Ensure that dealer credit lines are utilized efficiently and effectively, minimizing risk and maximizing revenue.
- Expand the Portfolio: Identify and acquire new dealer partners, expanding the portfolio and driving revenue growth.
- Achieve Company Goals and Targets: Collaborate with dealers to achieve company goals and targets, driving revenue and profitability.
- Educate Dealers on Best Practices: Provide dealers with training and support to ensure they are utilizing floor planning services effectively.
- Analyze Dealer Financial Information: Review dealer financial information and internal reports to assess performance and address issues promptly.
- Support Risk Mitigation and Collection Efforts: Collaborate with the Risk and Recovery department to mitigate risk and collect on delinquent accounts.
- Mitigate Risk: Identify and report any non-compliance or fraudulent activities, ensuring the integrity of the business.
- Document All Activities: Maintain accurate records of all interactions with dealers, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Foster Cross-Business Unit Relationships: Develop relationships with other business units to identify opportunities for collaboration and growth.
A qualified candidate for Account Manager must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of the automotive and finance industries
- Strong financial acumen and proficiency in financial tools and terminology
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to interact effectively with dealers
- Excellent negotiation and collection abilities
- Willingness to drive for long periods of time
- A clean driving record and valid driver's license
- The ability to travel 60% of the time with required overnight travel
- The ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
