Position Overview:


As a Financial Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to verify numerical entries and documentation for accuracy and appropriate categorization.

You will be tasked with organizing, securing, and maintaining all financial records, including cash and equivalents, in alignment with established policies and procedures. Your role will involve recording, storing, and analyzing computerized financial data. You will ensure the accuracy of electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting information. Your duties will include classifying, coding, and summarizing numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computer systems. You will prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical financial reports, accounting audits, or payroll tables as required. Additionally, you will complete period-end closing procedures and reports as outlined. You will also prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements in accordance with company protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required.

College coursework in a related field is advantageous.

Experience in the hospitality industry or a related field is preferred.

Core Responsibilities:
Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.


Maintain consistent attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, as required by varying schedules based on hotel needs.


Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty (as per brand standards).

Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations at all times to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

Ensure timely processing and mailing of hotel billing.


Contact all new billings and outstanding accounts to maintain Accounts Receivable Aging in accordance with Accounting S.O.P.'s and corporate standards.

Generate aging reports as directed by the Corporate Office.

Maintain a filing system for direct billing.

Assist the Property Accountant with Accounts Receivable administration as directed.


Support the Property Accountant with Accounts Payable administration, including processing invoices for payment and maintaining the checkbook accounting system.

Participate in bi-monthly credit meetings and provide updates on account statuses.


Assist the Property Accountant with Human Resources administration, including processing new hire paperwork, payroll administration, and paycheck distribution.

Support other accounting duties as assigned by the Property Accountant.

Assist with filing Human Resources and Accounting documentation.

Collaborate with Human Resources on Training Tracking and File Audit processes.

Help the Property Accountant maintain a rolodex for direct bill accounts.

Perform any additional duties as requested by management.
