About the Role

Allied Consultants, a leading provider of technical and business professionals, is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Developer to join our technical services team. As a key resource, you will be part of a dedicated CAPPS HCM upgrade project team.

We are looking for a skilled developer with hands-on experience in Texas state agency or CAPPS system, preferably with a strong background in system analysis and design.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing and modifying system codes, creating technical design documents, and troubleshooting system issues. Additionally, they will be able to estimate work, set deadlines, and communicate effectively with a diverse team in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

**System Development**

• Analyze and modify system codes to meet batch processes and interface requirements.

• Create technical design documents to support system development.

• Troubleshoot and debug system issues as needed.

**Collaboration and Communication**

• Work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve project goals.

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

**Technical Expertise**

• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, including Payroll and Time & Labor.

• Expertise in developing Application Engine, COBOL, and SQR programs.

• Experience with Integration Broker (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills.

• Familiarity with RHEL OS Scripting and Oracle Database 12c+.

• Experience with Microsoft O365 applications and SharePoint Lists.

Requirements

**Minimum Requirements**

• 8+ years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM development.

• Experience in developing Application Packages and PeopleCode.

• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills.

• Experience with RHEL OS Scripting and Oracle Database 12c+.

• Familiarity with Microsoft O365 applications and SharePoint Lists.

**Preferred Requirements**

• Experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government).

• Experience with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS HCM system.

• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Payroll or Time & Labor.

• Experience with SharePoint and Jira.

• Experience working with the Scrum framework.
